Cochrane Library
I've recently had a query from a Sports Therapy student about accessing the Cochrane Library. The Cochrane Library (which offers free online access) contains high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. It includes reliable evidence from Cochrane and other systematic reviews, clinical trials, and more. Cochrane reviews bring you the combined results of the world’s best medical research studies. The good news is that you can access this resource via Athens and the WileyInterScience database. Select the Wiley database from the list of Athens resources, type in 'cochrane library', click on the 'publication titles' option and 'go' and you will then have access to this useful resource.

Human Kinetics Online Journals for Sports Therapy- UPDATE

An update to my post Tuesday 27th regarding access to the Human Kinetic online journals. There is no longer a 'journals' tab on the Human Kinetics homepage to click on so you need to click on the 'more' tab, top right of the homepage. You then select 'journals' from the drop-down menu and you will see pictorial images of all the titles available. Click on the 'image' of the title you want to access and you can then choose from 'current issue', 'back issues' or 'search' using a keyword for the title selected or all the Human Kinetics titles available using this database.
