Alternative Hair Show 2015

The 2015 Alternative Hair Show will be taking place on Sunday 11th October at The Royal Albert Hall, London. The Alternative Hair Show 2015 takes place on Sunday 11th October, at 8pm at The Royal Albert Hall, London, and celebrates the artistry and creativity of hairdressing teams from across the globe, whilst raising much-needed funding for “Fighting Leukaemia”; a charity set up by Tony and Maggie Rizzo to support Leukaemia sufferers, primarily children and their families. NHF Photographic Stylist of the Year 2015

If you'd like to showcase your hairstyling and photographic talents, why not enter the 2015 NHF (National Hairdressers' Federation)  Photographic Stylist of the Year competition? This year there are four categories:

Male and Female Fashion Look (students and trainees working towards Level 3)
Male and Female Fashion Look (open to all)
Male and Female Fashion Collection (open to all)
Male and Female Afro-Caribbean Look (open to all)

See the NHF site for more details, including how to enter. The cut-off for entries is 12pm on Friday 18th September. If you decide to enter, there are plenty of photography books in the Library that will help you such as Light and Shoot: 50 fashion photos
