Human Anatomy DVDs

For anyone studying for the Anatomy 1 module, or if you who simply want to improve your knowledge of anatomy, there is a set of 6 Human Anatomy DVDs at both Summer Row and Richmond House Library. International Institute for Anti-Ageing Forum 09

The International Institute for Anti-Ageing (IIAA) will be holding a two day conference that focuses on major new trends in the industry. It will take place, alongside Professional Beauty 2009, on 1st and 2nd March 2009 at ExCel London. For more details click on the 'events' tab on the ILLA website.

Health and Fitness Journal

Just a reminder that if you are looking for info on fitness, diet and 'wellbeing', Heath and Fitness is available in both Richmond House and Summer Row Library. This title is on The Spa Concept, Spa Operations and Beauty Therapy Practice 2 reading lists.

Professional Spa 2009 Exhibition Postponed

The Professional Spa exhibition that was due to take place at ExCel this March has now been postponed until 2010, due to the current economic conditions. The Professional Spa Conference is unaffected and the Professional Beauty exhibition will still take place between 1-3 March 2009. For more info see the Professional Spa/Beauty press release.

Sports Taping DVD

There is now a DVD available on Sports Taping; so if you feel you need a little extra help on 'taping' you will find the Sports Taping Basics DVD at Summer Row Library. The DVD cannot be taken out on loan but you can watch it on the TV screens in Summer Row Library. It's by David Perrin, author of the 'Athletic Taping and Bracing' book that we have in stock.
