Here are the Christmas and new year opening hours for Richmond House Library and Summer Row Library. Don't forget to return or renew any books that you have out on loan, before you leave College for the Christmas break, to prevent any overdue fines when you return in January. Have a good holiday!

National Make-Up Awards 2011
The UK's first National Make-Up Awards for Make-Up Artists will be taking place live on Monday 28th February 2011 at the Professional Beauty Awards held at ExCel Exhibition Centre, London. There are four categories including Student Make-Up Artist. The last date to register is 24th December. See the event website for details.

The Clothes Show Live 2010
The Clothes Show Live is currently taking place at the NEC, Birmingham. Gok Wan is presenting in the Fashion Theatre 3-5th December, but the Clothes Show Live will continue at the NEC until 8th December. See the event website for more info.

IMATS London Show

The 2011 International Make-Up Artist Trade Show will be taking place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th January at Alexandra Palace in London. There are several types of ticket with discounts for students, although during general show hours it is open to the general public. Young Beautician of the Year
Watch BBC3 on Tuesday 7th December 10.30pm- 11.30pm to see four beauticians competing to be named Young Beautician of the Year. The contestants will be showing their skills at waxing, tanning, a beauty quiz and two of the contestants will be performing a 'yummy mummy' makeover in the final round.
