The 2nd edition of Handbook of Cosmetic Skin Care,  Shai, is now available. You can also access this online as an Ebook via Athens through Dawson Books.

The Alternative Hair Show 2013

The Alternative Hair Show 2013, which helps to raise funds for Leukaemia Research, will be held at The Royal Albert Hall, London, on Sunday 13h October. See the event website for further information.

New NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing & Barbering Book

The new 7th edition of the Hairdressing and Barbering: The Foundations: the official guide, Palladino, is now available. If you want to take a copy out on loan you will be able to keep it for the summer as the loan period is extended to cover the summer vacation. Just remember to keep your receipt from the self-service kiosks so that you know the date when your books are due back in September.

Two New Books

If you are looking to improve your study skills this summer, we now have the new 2013 edition of The Study Skills Handbook, Cottrell, in stock. 

We have also added another new book to our collection- The Official LaStone Therapy Manual, Scrivner.

IMATS London Show

The IMATS (International Make-Up Artist Trade Show) London 2013 event will be taking place on 22nd-23rd June. Special make-up effects artist Neill Gorton will be one of the keynote speakers.  Lisa Westcott and Julie Dartnell, recent Oscar winners for Les Miserables, will also be keynote speakers at IMATS London.
