TV Programmes of Interest Next week

If you are looking for visual inspiration on period hairstyles, beauty or costume there are a few TV programmes coming up soon that will be of interest.  
On Sunday 18th January at 8pm on BBC 1 a new series of Call the Midwife begins. Although previous series have been set in the 1950s, the new series is set in 1960 so you will be able to see very early 1960s fashions this time.
Wednesday 21st January at 9pm on BBC1 sees the start of Wolf Hall which has been adapted from Hilary Mantel's Booker prize-winning novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies that are set in Tudor times during the reign of Henry VIII.  Also on Wednesday 21st, you can watch A Knight's Tale, a film that is set in medieval14th-century Europe and is showing on E4 at 8pm.
