You now have access to SportDiscus with full-text access to 500 sports and sports medicine journal
titles as this has been added to our online resources. It can be found behind the EbscoHost
link in the E-Resources list, so make sure you visit the Ebscohost database when you are looking for information for assignments. If you are a returning student and have used Human Kinetic journals in the past, you will be pleased to hear that Human Kinetic titles are included in SportDiscus.
The Bupa Great Birmingham Run will be taking place on Sunday19th October. This was formerly known as the Birmingham Half Marathon and was first staged in 2008.You'll have to be quick if you want to enter the race, as entries will be closing soon. The 'Knitwear: Chanel to Westwood' exhibition will be running from 19th September 2014 to 18th January 2015 at the Fashion and Textile Museum, in London. Looking at vintage fashion knitwear in the 20th century, it includes 1920s Chanel jersey, 1930s woollen swimwear, 1970s Bill Gibb and
conceptual garments from Comme des Garcons, Vivienne Westwood and Julien
MacDonald.
