DVDs for Advanced Prosthetics and Castings Module

We have added a range of DVDs to the Advanced Prosthetics and Castings (736) module reading list and you can find them on the upper level of Summer Row Library. If you want to view one of the DVDs, take the DVD case to the Library counter and you will be given a set of headphones so you can watch the DVD on the screen in the Library. You can see which titles are available by clicking on the  'Reading List' tab at the top of the Library portal page and entering the module number or name in the search box. If you need any help with finding your module reading lists, just call into the Library and we can show you how to do this.

Just to say a big 'hello' to all new Beauty Therapy Management, Advanced Hairdressing and Salon Management, Sports Therapy, Sports Management, Spa Management, Specialist Hair and Media Make-up, and Community Sport and Business Management students starting at UCB!
I am your Subject Librarian so I may have already spoken to your tutor group at the recent Library tutorial sessions about all our wonderful Library resources. If not, I will be attending tutorials over the next couple of weeks. Retail Birmingham Launches Style Birmingham Live AW13

The region’s award winning fashion and shopping event, Style Birmingham Live AW13, is back on Saturday 28 September. The hosts for this year are  Birmingham born model and presenter Emma Willis and reality TV star Rylan Clark.

Tickets are now on sale for the unmissable day of fashion, beauty and shopping, which this year is centred around a stunning catwalk show at Town Hall. The city centre venue will be transformed into a ‘fashion industry’ style setting, with a show featuring the latest autumn/winter styles and collections from across the city’s top stores and centres including Bullring, Selfridges, The Mailbox, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and M&S.

There is a full line-up of activities and offers from around the city centre for visitors to enjoy, including ‘Style on the Side’ - a fashion themed audience Q&A with hosts Emma & Rylan following each catwalk show, plus The Show:TEN at Bullring, which will celebrate ten years of fashion and style at the heart of the city with a stunning AW13 catwalk show, as well as style events at House of Fraser, The Mailbox and many other city centre stores.
